The story of Jesus’ 40 days in the desert provides us with a template for overcoming obstacles and limitations and evolving into a new being.
We help create the “beloved community” by allowing ourselves to be recreated through the practice of sabbath.
When we recognize the Divinity within ourselves and in others, we begin to manifest sacred community – heaven on earth.
A healthy, supportive community promotes healing and wholeness.
The spiritual community we strive for is the opposite of ghettoization. We seek to build a community where everyone can thrive and where all are welcome.
Our challenge is to be who we are – an expression of Divine Love – no matter what confronts us.
No matter how independent we may believe ourselves to be, we are all inescapably interconnected.
When we recognize the divinity within ourselves, we will respect and treat ourselves with kindness and love.
Grace is the unconditional love of God which is always available to us, requiring only acceptance and receptivity.
