October 3: Patricia Pearce
“Our Quantum Leap in Consciousness”

The idea of enemy is on the same continuum as the idea of separateness. Enemy is the idea of separateness taken to an extreme, and it keeps us tied to dualism, to separateness consciousness.

When we look at what is happening right now in the world we can see how much the idea of enemy is intensifying. And yet, the idea of enemy will collapse because it is illusory, and sometimes an idea has to reach such a level of hyperbole that it becomes obviously ludicrous before the mind will let it go. We must ask ourselves honestly: Am I willing to allow the concept of enemy to collapse in my own mind?

Patricia Pearce returns to offer another message of deep wisdom. In the early 2000’s, following the death of a close friend, she experienced a spiritual awakening which showed her the fundamental interconnectedness of Reality, the illusion of separateness, and the fallacy of the egoic self. The insights from her awakening led her beyond the bounds of conventional Christian belief, and in 2010 she left the church to embark on a vocation of writing, speaking, and teaching about the global shift into unitive consciousness.

She is the author of two books—Beyond Jesus: My Spiritual Odysseyand No One in I Land: A Parable of Awakeningand host of the Evolutionary Activist podcast. Learn more and sign up for her newsletter at www.patriciapearce.com.

How does the spiritual gift of hope work in relation to the other important gifts of the Spirit: faith and love? And how do we make room for these gifts in our hearts and lives during times when it is easy to fall into a sense of hopelessness?

A heart-centered minister and teacher, Brigid leads from relationships and embraces experiential interactions.
