Directions to our picnic area:

Turn into the Crossings at the light at Albany Shaker Road (just east of Wolf Rd.).

1) Drive on the main road past the first parking area on the right and continue on the main road, going past the pond and Gazebos and main buildings on your right.

2) Immediately after these buildings, turn right into a larger parking lot. Go straight ahead to the end of the parking lot. Park here.

3) There will be a paved walkway in front of your car that is parallel to the main road. Get on the pathway and take a short walk toward the pond on the other side of the buildings.

4) Hopefully, if we can get there early enough to save it, our gathering area will be on your right of your pathway, on a spit of land that has 3 picnic tables and a bench and which juts out into the pond (see photo).

Photo 1: When you get to these picnic tables, the pathway will be on your right, and you’ll see the pond in front of you and a pale yellowish-colored building on the right side of the photo. The bathrooms are in that building. Your car will be in the parking lot on the other side of that building.

Photo 2: This view is as if you were walking on the stone path where the red roofed gazebos are, with your back to the main road, and the building with the bathrooms are on your left. If you look on the right side of the photo and behind the couple sitting on the bench, if you have a magnifying glass, you would see our 3 picnic tables and a bench on the grassy spit of land jutting out into the pond. They’re at the 4th tree to the right of the bright orange-leaved tree.

Before you head for the Crossings, skip on over to the church at 21 King Avenue and join us for CHALK the WALK!  We’ll be decorating the sidewalk in front of the church with fun, positive images and messages from 1:00 to 3:00.
