Walking Each Other Home

…Grief and Beyond in the Time of Covid

3 Thursdays, beginning June 11, 1:00 – 2:30 pm
With Patricia Hunt-Perry and Friends

There have been and are many and varied challenges that we all face during this time.

Grief arises about what is happening, what is lost, what people fear, and of the unknown future. How do we walk with uncertainty?

In addition many other emotions can emerge sometimes arising from the past that are often linked to our grief about our situation. Sometimes we don’t realize the connection.

How do we discover ways to be in this tine  with balance and discovering new ways of thriving?

What we do have as a Unity family is the ability to walk with each other even if it’s on Zoom. Covid doesn’t rob us of receiving and giving support and love and caring to each other. Church hasn’t gone away; we are just not in the building.

As Maya Angelou says:

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive;
and do so with some passion, compassion, and some humor and style.

Patricia Hunt Perry, Ph.D (Professor Emeritus of Social Thought) pioneered interdisciplinary course creation teaching graduate and undergraduate courses on grief, death and dying for 30 years at Ramapo College
