Ashley Fox, an Associate Professor at UAlbany who studies health policy and the economics and politics of health care,  will explain the New York Health Act to us. Since 2012, single payer, free health care has been passed by the NYS Assembly four times… only to be stuck in Senate Committee and scuttled at each session.  Professors Fox will inform us of the details of the strong push to pass the act this year, and will show us how we can advocate for its passing in the next legislative session.
