Recently, Ramananda John Welshons joined us for a day of “Honoring the Seasons of Our Lives.” During his talk and workshop, John invited us to embrace the inevitability of change as a blessing in which we can unveil Love in every circumstance during the ongoing cycles of life.
Over the course of many months a team composed of Rev Brigid, and three nurses with decades of combined experience working with patients and families at the end of life: Mary Myers, Deb Sigrist and Pat Anene. Together they have created Living Fully with the End in Mind, a series of workshops designed to support and inform the conversations and decisions that bring peace of mind to every season of life. Each workshop is a stand alone topic, but together will provide deep food for thought, practical information and a wealth of resources.
We began the series on Sunday, October 29 with “The Conversaton”. If you were unable to join us that day, contact Rev Brigid for the materials. ([email protected])
We continue with this series of 3 classes on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, following 6:30 Meditation:
-
November 8: Advance Care Planning
-
November 15: Resources – knowing what to ask and where to turn
-
November 29: Coming Together at the End
