Autumnal Mawaté Healing Ceremony

Sacred Corn Circle

with Pam Medina

Mawaté means healing, symbolizing an unending circle. During Mawaté, we purify hearts and minds with herbs, draw sacred symbols in cornmeal, and connect with All That Is through embodied Oneness, prayer, song, and community—sitting, standing, walking, or lying in a circle to honor the Great Mystery.

An Autumn Mawate’ Healing ceremony is a sacred corn circle offered by the Before Time People for the solstice, fostering connection with All That Is through prayer, singing, movement, drumming, and honoring the Great Mystery, strengthening community and universal unity.

We’ll begin at 12:30 in the Unity Garden (or in the Sanctuary if raining).
We will meet for approximately 2 to 3 hours.
A love donation of $20 to Unity Church and our EarthCare efforts is suggested.

Pam Medina is a Tshoma (Teacher) of the Mawate’ (Healing) path, taught by her Atshoma (Great Teacher) Shaunadii Listening Deer, Geronimo’s great-granddaughter, as well as Chief Richard of the Cherokee Nation, and Esther Earth Walker. She is also a social worker and catalyst for change. Pam has lived off the grid for two years, culminating in a profound relationship with the Spirit of the Natural World that she brings to this ceremony.
