Rev. Brigid Beckman joins us for the first time as a guest speaker, in person at our 10:00 am Sunday morning service on August 8.
Our services are now both in-person and live-streamed on YouTube. To attend in person, it is most helpful if you register by phone no later than the previous Thursday, as we continue to limit numbers in the sanctuary. To register to attend the service, call our office at (518) 453-3603 and choose extension 20 to leave your message. (You may also show up on Sunday without having registered as we have yet to reach our quota of 40 congregants)
To view services online, go to our YouTube Channel to view live or any time later.
Brigid’s Message: A Time for Every Purpose Under Heaven
All of creation reminds us that change is integral to life. But while we might appreciate witnessing the ebb and flow of the tides or the changing seasons, in the turning of our own lives, change often feels challenging. How do we find roadmaps for being open to the changes in our individual lives and our lives in community? How do we recognize the gifts to be found in the moments of transition, especially if those “moments” stretch into months? Can we learn to welcome the liminal spaces, the thresholds of transition between what has been and what will be? Brigid Beckman will explore these questions in her service talk on 8-8-21.
