A uniquely American story about what it means to be home… In the Heights, the first hit Broadway musical by Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, tells the story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood, a place where the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and the struggle to decide which traditions to honor and which ones to leave behind. This Tony Award-winner for Best Musical kicks off our summer season in Washington Park. Note: In the Heights contains some minor instances of adult language that parents my find inappropriate for children under 13.

In The Heights is presented through arrangement with the Rodgers & Hammerstein Theatre Library

This is a very professionally done play that is free to the public.
An area of the bleachers will be cordoned off for Unity to share.

Bring your friends, neighbors, etc. and let’s enjoy together!
