a positive path for spiritual living

Sunday Service with Rev Jim Fuller

We are always delighted to welcome Rev. Jim Fuller back to Unity Albany as our Guest Speaker!

Rev. Jim was, of course, our beloved minister at Unity of Albany from 2003 to 2015. During his tenure in Albany, Jim “grew” our ministry in many ways, leading with wisdom, humor and prayer consciousness. These days he and his wife, Rev. Kay Fuller, hang out in their native Charlotte, North Carolina and regularly join us for our live-stream services.

Message: Thoughts for Father’s Day

Rev. Jim will, as his title says, share his thoughts about our annual celebration of fathers, and he will do so with a strong emphasis on the teachings from A Course in Miracles.
Affirmation:
Beyond what I presently see; I can feel love, peace and joy following me.
I turn my mind toward that Kingdom, and find myself at home and at peace.

Scripture:
“You dwell not here (the world), but in eternity. You travel but in dreams, while safe at home.” (ACIM 13;VII;7).

About Rev. Jim Fuller

Hi I’m Jim, an ordained Unity Minister. I have lived in Charlotte, NC since 1975. I am a graduate of UNC-Greensboro and UNC-Charlotte. I worked here in the human services field for many years. In 1997 I received an inner nudge to “quit my job and start my ministry.” That was clearly a Divine Idea since it had not been anywhere on my mental radar before that day. Because I already had a strong connection with Unity I applied to the Unity seminary in Unity Village MO, located just outside Kansas City. After two years of prerequisite classes, Kay and I moved to the Kansas City area where I completed Unity’s two year seminary program and graduated in 2002. I then led the Unity Church in Albany NY until late 2015, another unplanned and inspired/inspiring life event. In 2015 I became aware that my work in Albany was complete. I supported the congregation there as they moved through the process of finding a new minister and in September of that year we took some time off to rest in San Diego. The Charlotte Spiritual Center is my current response to an inner pull to return “home” and continue sharing the spiritual teachings, tools and ideas that I have found to be healing, uplifting and practical for daily living.
