We’re delighted to welcome Rev. Blair Tabor, a long-time Unity minister from the San Diego area. Blair is also an accomplished musician and composer and will be with us for our morning service, providing both message and music.

Message: “Divine Interruption”

We all have experiences where people or circumstances seem to get in the way of our lives, our good.
What if those seeming blockages and interruptions are really opportunities to let God’s power flow through you in unexpected ways? Jesus was on the way to heal a little girl when a woman with faith to be healed snuck up to Jesus to touch him. Whatever seems to be sneaking up on you is your divine opportunity to let the divine power flow through you.

Rev. Blair Tabor is an ordained Unity Minister of 44 years, accomplished speaker, composer and musician.  He has used his varied talents to inspire and delight churches, retreats, conferences and young people all over the country with his speaking and songs.  He leads a variety of workshops and trainings for congregants, ministers and boards of directors for churches.

Seven years ago, he retired from full-time ministry from Unity San Diego after 30 years of service.  Currently, he is serving as the Administrative Director of the Unity Church of Alhambra Foundation which provides scholarships for students who want to become Unity ministers and Licensed Unity Teachers, as well as provide grants for Regional youth activities and church growth projects in the Southwest Unity Region.  Rev. Blair is also Advising Minister for Unity of Tustin.  He and his wife, Meredith, lead Unity travel opportunities around the world.  Blair is also on the Spiritual Mistry Team for Unity of Tustin.

As a songwriter, he has written over two hundred songs.  He has produced a book on Spiritual (Sufi) Dancing.  He and the Unity San Diego church band, The Affirmatives, recorded a CD of 13 of Blair’s songs.  A songbook of these songs is available.  He has also produced meditation CD’s.  He plays a variety of instruments and delights in making people smile.  Last year, he and his wife, Meredith, were  awarded Unity Worldwide Ministries “Grace Note” award for lifetime achievement in New Thought music.  He produced a new CD to celebrate the occasion.

His goal is to remind people of their connection to God’s love and joy.
