We will meet up at Noon at the main parking area on Route 9 in the town of Round Lake at the DEC Round Lake Boat Launch parking area.
There is no charge for the kayaking or parking.
However, if you need to rent a kayak – please call Upstate Kayak Rentals of Waterford at:518-209-1063 to reserve one. The fee is $30.00/day and includes everything you will need: kayak, paddle, and safety flotation vest.

Bring water, sunblock, perhaps a snack, and if you need any assistance launching, or transporting, or docking we will be there for you with any or all of it.
We Kayak at a fairly slow easy pace so even if you are new to kayaking, you will not be left behind.
Round Lake is beautiful and there are side areas that we can explore for even more fun.
