…Letting go of the Past
with “Ramananda” John Welshons
Sunday, January 24, 2021, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Live on ZOOM
One of the greatest challenges we face on the spiritual journey is learning to coax our mind to stay rooted in the present moment. We spend so much time and energy replaying the past and anticipating the future – with a combination of longing and fear, This tendency is among our greatest sources of suffering. In this soothing and refreshing afternoon workshop we will take several steps closer to our own Inner Light. We will explore meditation practices, perspectives, and adjustments to our perception – that can help us ease this seemingly perpetual challenge. We will continue to learn to live in The NOW . . . drawing on the teachings of The Buddha, Jesus, The Bhagavad Gita . . . and luminaries like Ram Dass, Stephen Levine, and Pema Chodron.
JOHN E. WELSHONS (“Ramananda”) is a highly respected contemporary spiritual teacher who lectures and leads meditation courses throughout North America. RAMANANDA has studied world religions throughout his life. His teachings weave together the mystical and contemplative aspects of the world’s great spiritual traditions. He is a beloved meditation teacher, and one of our most respected authorities on how to use life’s inevitable difficulties as the steps on our own path of spiritual awakening
