We have an exciting spring ahead of us with wonderful and gifted speakers and musicians joining us for Sunday morning services.
February 7: Carol Morris – Our current Board of Trustees alternate and member of our Music Ministry. Carol is a professor of Early Childhood Education at SUNY Cobleskill and has been active in other Unity ministries as well as in Quaker communities.
February 14: Gerri Ratigan – Besides being a gifted singer (and member of our Music Ministry), Gerri is a Life Coach. She has led programs on the law of attraction, fulfillment, life purpose, success, self-esteem, the mind-body connection, spiritual alignment and creativity, among others.
February 21: Daniel Nahmod, Music & Message
Daniel Nahmod has performed his profound, heart-opening original music for over one million people in 45 U.S. states and Canada since beginning his music career in 1999. His poetic and evocative message of peace, love and compassion across all nations, cultures and faiths has found overwhelming acceptance wherever he has performed.
February 28: Greg Tamblyn, Music & Message
An award winning speaker-humorist-singer-songwriter for over 25 years, Greg combines outstanding audience rapport with an irreverent sense of humor. He captivates audiences with a wealth of powerful material about the relationship of lifestyle, music, and laughter to effectiveness and wellness.
March 7: Joan Horgan
Joan has been working at the College of Saint Rose for 26 years as a campus minister and currently as the Director of Spiritual Life and Interfaith Initiatives. Before coming to Saint Rose she spent 14 years in a Catholic junior and senior high school as a school counselor. Joan loves singing and especially singing in musical theater in the area. She also enjoys designing and performing in programs that combine the arts, spirituality and time to reflect on the different ways God can speak other than through traditional scripture.
March 14: Jacob Glass • Message: “Spring Into Prosperity”
Jacob Glass is a spiritual teacher and writer focusing on New Thought metaphysical teachings and A Course in Miracles. His live lectures are funny, lively, irreverent and full of tools for quieting the ego mind. His books are new thought spiritual guides to soothing and uplifting the mind to create a happy, joyous and peaceful life. Jacob lives in Southern California and teaches regularly in Santa Barbara, San Diego, Palm Springs and Los Angeles.
March 21: Amoda Maa • Message: “Your Brokenness is Holy”
Amoda Maa is a spiritual teacher, sharing a fresh approach to the age-old search for spiritual freedom. Her teaching features timeless truths in ways that are highly relevant and alive to this moment—for contemporary seekers willing to go to the raw edge where spirituality meets humanity. Since 2012 Amoda has been offering meetings and retreats to support and deepen the living of an awakened life.
Amoda will also offer an Afternoon Workshop: “Welcoming Everything Home: the power of tenderness”
March 28 (Palm Sunday): Rev. Jim Fuller
Rev. Jim was, of course, our beloved minister at Unity of Albany from 2003 to 2015. During his tenure in Albany Jim “grew” our ministry in many ways, leading with wisdom, humor and prayer consciousness.
April 4 (Easter Sunday): Rev. Jim Fuller
Jim returns to celebrate this beautiful feast of renewal and awakening with us.
April 11: Rev. John Frederick
John is an Interfaith Minister and long-time member of Unity Albany. He is a great proponent of prosperity consciousness, and is the author of the recently published book Prosperity Now! John joins us from his current residence in Paris, France.

April 25: Rev. Steve Colladay
Since Rev. Steve left us as our Transitional Minister in January, Unity of Gaithersburg has been the next lucky ministry to receive his leadership through their time of transition. Steve takes a “busman’s holiday” this weekend though, and we’re glad to welcome him back for a visit and receive more of his abundant wisdom and wide-open heart!
May 2: Bethany Gonyea
Bethany Gonyea is the founder of Global Peaceful Cities, an outgrowth of the Albany Peace Project. GPC is now a world-wide outreach program championed with support from The Institute of Heartmath. It represents a growing movement to create a global community that utilizes a new social paradigm through heart-centered prayer and focused intentional meditation.
