In early May, during a conversation I was having with Jane Bloom, she told me that she did not think she was coming back to Unity. I knew she had been dealing with some serious and seemingly unrelenting ailments for the past several years… This last one had taken a lot out of her. Yet, I wasn’t ready to hear that. Upon hearing me, she changed her comment to, “I will not be back by July… maybe I’ll be back by September.”
It is with sadness and joy that I tell you that our beloved Jane Bloom will not be back with us, at least in the body. She passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018. I am saddened for all our loss. I am filled with joy that she no longer is in pain. She is free and boundless, truly one with God. One of the last things she said during the above-mentioned conversation was, “I hope you all don’t forget me.” We will not forget you, Jane.
We will not forget Jane, for she was such a beautiful soul, dedicated to the Unity movement and to this Unity church. As our Licensed Unity Teacher (LUT) she loved to devour spiritual information and then share it with her students. Studying the Bible was her favorite subject. Her Tuesday Book Study class has been a favorite class of this congregation for years. As our Youth and Family Ministry Director, she was passionate about our youth receiving the Unity tools to better their lives. What she shared of herself with this ministry was immeasurable and her absence leaves a large void. We will miss you.
Jane, we will not forget you. Rest in peace, beloved.

Jane’s Family will let us know when plans have been made for a Memorial Service and we will post that information on this website and announce it at the church.
